Feed the Future
Speaking at the Clinton Global Initiative’s annual meeting last week, USAID Administrator Raj Shah identified Feed the Future as a cornerstone of the Administration’s new global development policy. IGD seeks to integrate feedback from the private sector into Feed the Future and most recently facilitated a conversation between USAID, U.S. multi-national corporations and African CEOs to further the goal of increasing public and private investment in African agriculture. IGD also hosted a CEO roundtable for Administrator Shah in Seattle on August 13. |

On August 11, IGD and Oxfam America co-hosted a CEO roundtable in Indianapolis focused on the importance of improving the effectiveness of U.S. foreign assistance. Members of the Indiana business community committed to support comprehensive reform to better promote U.S. humanitarian, security and economic interests. |
