Frontier 100 members please log in
Frontier 100 is a network of business executives that aims to increase earning and access to life-enhancing products and services for low-income people in developing countries. Frontier 100 members build relationships, share knowledge and take action in support of three objectives:
- Create business opportunities - Facilitate business relationships, catalyze investments and develop the next generation of business leaders
- Innovate to improve products and services - Develop and share business models to better serve low-income individuals
- Reduce barriers to investment - Provide business input on global development policy and improve investor perceptions of frontier markets
Targeted initiative teams
Members of Frontier 100 form teams around targeted issue areas including enterprise development, investor perceptions, talent, policy and regional integration. For example, the enterprise development team is working to increase access to finance for small and medium enterprises that engage low-income people as customers, employers and suppliers.
Sector interest groups
Members of Frontier 100 form close-knit networks around agriculture, infrastructure, financial services and natural resources. For example, Frontier 100 is an active part of IGD’s agriculture development strategy, providing input into the U.S. government’s Feed the Future food security initiative and other U.S. global development strategies.
Frontier 100 is a growing network that currently includes over 40 CEOs, collectively representing more than $30 billion in revenues across a range of sectors. Frontier 100 is currently focused on Africa and will expand to additional regions in the coming years. IGD invites CEOs from leading companies with business exposure to these selected regions to join Frontier 100.
