Secretary Clinton Announces Diplomacy and Development Policy Review

On July 10, Secretary of State Clinton announced the first-ever Quadrennial Diplomacy and Development Review to provide a short-term and long-term blueprint for U.S. foreign policy and to make the case for the resources and personnel necessary to achieve our strategic foreign policy objectives.

IGD commends Sec. Clinton for this initiative and hopes that it will be an important piece of the Obama Administration’s efforts to elevate global development as a national priority and to improve the effectiveness and coherence of U.S. foreign assistance.
