New Investment Fund to Support Women Agri-Entrepreneurs in Africa

Categories: Featured

A new investment fund aims to expand access to financing, technology and business skills and knowhow for African women agri-entrepreneurs to boost productivity, food security and economic prosperity in their countries.

The LadyAgri Impact Investment Hub provides access to medium- and long-term financing, technical capacity-building, and food technology partnerships, thereby empowering women to leverage their role in the African agricultural sector to create employment, upscale their commercial activities, and upskill the labor force.

IGD is partnering with the LadyAgri Impact Investment Hub to connect women-owned agribusinesses identified through the IGD Frontier Leader Network and work with the Rockefeller Foundation’s Yieldwise initiative to financing and partnerships.
