Your Best Tips for Creating and Designing a Perfect Roller Banner for Your Business

The proper advertising and marketing campaign for your products and services need not be difficult or taxing, especially financially. While having a good marketing and promotional campaign is essential if you want your products or services to get noticed, some of the best marketing tools are still good old banners. Roller banners are very popular, and rightly so. With the right roller banner, you can promote your business and get the attention you want, and you can use it over and over again at any event – whether it’s a trade show, a conference or seminar, a neighbourhood or community event, and so on. But using roller banners for your business is one thing; designing a good one is another. Here, then, are your best tips for creating and designing a perfect roller banner for your business.

  • Design with your company logo in the topmost portion

One thing that can make your company get noticed is if you design your roller banner with your company logo in the topmost portion. This makes it more prominent, and the topmost portion is usually the first place viewers look when they see a banner. Your main and most important message should, however, be at eye level so your viewers can also easily read what you have to say.

  • Focus on left to right and top to bottom

In the English language, we all read from left to right and from top to bottom, and your banner’s focus should be on this natural progression as well. When you begin laying out the flow of details and information on your banner, bear this in mind, and remember that the simpler your message is, the better. Whatever other information your viewers need can be given to them through a booklet or brochure, so avoid overloading your banner with too much information, as expert printing services in Manchester like Harveyboard Print & Digital attest.

  • Don’t scrimp on the images

Another important point when creating and designing your roller banner is not to scrimp on the images. This means making sure your images are of the highest quality – not grainy or blurry or distorted. Whatever images you use on your roller banners should be print-ready, which means that they should be saved as Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, Black (CMYK) rather than RGB. The resolution of your images should also be at 300 dots/inch so they will look clearer and more vibrant when printed.

  • Don’t forget the importance of the right colours

Colours are definitely essential and can help you get noticed at any trade show or exhibition, but you have to use the right ones. The colours you select should complement each other and tie in with the colours of your company as well. Aside from this, they have to accentuate and be a good fit for your logo. Think about the impact of colours on your image – grey and black are often perceived as serious, while orange and red can grab attention and showcase vibrancy and strength.

Additionally, don’t forget the proper spacing and text, and your banner’s typography should be spot on. Make sure your typography is easy to understand and appealing, and ensure that there is enough space in between each phrase or point so your audience can easily understand the message you want to impart.
